CNDT Dewars

He-4 Cryostat with 4 K UHV cold plate

The standard CNDT dewar design may be modified for UHV applications.  In the system shown in the drawing below, the application required a UHV 4 K cold plate.  The dewar mounted to the end-user's chamber via a conflat flange and the cold plate included tapped holes for sample mounting.

This dewar is built to order, so the dimensions, cryogen volume, conflat flange and hole pattern may all be specified to meet any individual requirements.  Contact Janis for detailed design discussions.
