Top-loading Cryogen Free Helium-3 Cryostat, Sample in Exchange Gas for High Pressure DAC: HE-3-TLSXGAS
Janis Research has developed a top-loading cryogen free Helium-3 cryostat with sample in exchange gas for high pressure DAC having broad operating temperatures between 0.32 K and 300 K. Click the link above for more informatino. This cryostat can also be used for other experiments that require cooling down samples below 1.0 K in exchange gas. At the same time, the sample space can be made slightly larger, if necessary.

The image to the left shows a diamond anvil cell (DAC) sample holder designed for integration with a Janis model PTSHI-4-5 pulse tube cooled 4 K closed cycle refrigerator system. The general design can be used on any system (sample in vapor and sample in vacuum) with sufficiently large sample area. The sample holder shown here was designed to fit an easyLab OmniDAC membrane-style diamond anvil cell.
