These systems provide 0.1 Watts of cooling at a temperature of 4.2 K at the second stage and can reach a minimum temperature of about 3.0 K (with no parasitic or experimental heat loads). The 0.1-Watt systems employ a smaller compressor and cold head than the 1-Watt systems. The compressor is available in an air-cooled version only, in conjunction with 3-meter long flexible gas lines.
