Overview
These systems provide 0.4 Watts of cooling at a temperature of 4.2 K at the second stage and can reach a minimum temperature below 3.5 K (with no parasitic or experimental heat loads). The
0.4-Watt systems employ a smaller compressor and cold head than the 1-Watt systems. The compressor is available in an air-cooled version only, in conjunction with 10-meter long flexible gas lines.
