Dilution Refrigerator Magnet Systems
Overview
Janis Research offers dilution refrigerator magnet systems. Standard systems are offered with inserts that offer temperatures to less than 10 mK, with cooling power in excess of 500 µWatts at 100 mK.
Standard Configuration
Standard systems are offered with inserts that offer temperatures to less than 10 mK, with cooling powers in excess of 500 µWatts at 100 mK, and are supplied with thermometry at the 1 K condensing pot, at the still and at the mixing chamber. Please refer to our dilution refrigerator web page. These are supplied with a complete gas handling system with precisely optimized He-3/He-4 mixture. Superconducting magnets with special cancellation coils that drop the field in the region of the mixing chambers, as well as carefully designed sample holders that practically eliminate eddy current heating, are included as part of the standard systems. Both high field magnets and split pair solenoids are available and special windows for specific types of electromagnetic radiation are included as required.
