UHV compatible
long hold time
He-3 superconducting
magnet system

Janis is pleased to announce that it is offering a UHV compatible long hold time He-3 superconducting magnet system.  It offers a hold time in excess of three days, at a temperature of less than 0.3 K, with no active pumping on the 1 K pot.  The cryostat includes two magnets with a guaranteed 8.5 T vertical field and a 0.8 T horizontal field, with persistent current switches on both magnets.

The system also includes a 12" translation stage that allows translation of the sample out of the magnet bore for sample installation and replacement in the cold UHV environment.
