Micro Manipulated Probe Stations for Microscopy
June 2006
Janis Research is pleased to announce that it is offering the new
ST-500 series micro manipulated probe stations.
The proven ST-500 cryostat's low
vibration technology (originally designed for high spatial resolution optical
microscopy)
provides outstanding sample positional stability. The vibration level
is only +/- 25 nm and the positional drift is less than +/- 150 nm in 30
minutes. Recently the long term drift of only 2 nm/minute was measured at
the University of Oxford while performing single QD spectroscopy experiments.
These systems are supplied with
integrated vibration isolation tables and come complete with automatic
temperature controllers for operation
up to 450 K. They are also available with stereo zoom microscopes and
monozooms and turbo molecular pumping
stations that are integrated with the probe system.
