Model CCS-950T-MM Cryocooler
with Vector Magnet

The Janis Research model CCS-950T-MM cryocooler system provides convenient, cryogen-free cooling of small samples over the temperature range of 10 K - 325 K.  The cryocooler is top loading, allowing rapid characterization of many samples without repeated warming and cooling of the cryostat.  The complete system combines the cryogen-free cooler with a Magnetic Solutions Inc. Multimag permanent magnet.  The Multimag magnet produces variable transverse magnetic fields from 0 to 10,000 gauss, and includes computer control of field strength and direction, with user specified ramp and soak profiles.  When matched with a suitable temperature controller and vacuum pumping station, the complete package offers the user the capability to make a wide range of field dependent measurements, as a function of both temperature and magnetic field.  A 4 K cryocooler option (model SHI-950T-MM) extends the operating temperature range to 4 K - 325 K.  Click here for more information on the basic CCS-950T and SHI-950T models.
