UHV Compatible Systems

Special systems for UHV compatible (scanning probe microscopy and other experiments) are available with a variety of magnetic fields.  These magnets can be either straight solenoids, split pair magnets with horizontal and vertical access, or double and triple magnets for operation with vertical or horizontal fields, or combined vector fields.  These systems are supplied with He-4 or He-3 cryostats and are also available with dilution refrigerators for operation below He-3 temperatures.   The sample may be introduced through the top or the bottom of the cryostat or through a horizontal bore of a split pair magnet.  Many systems incorporate translation and rotation stages for sample loading, without warming up the magnet cryostat.  Please feel free to contact Janis to discuss you requirement.
